The Gala Night 2024 was hosted by a dedicated non-profit organization, the Metropolitan Asian Deaf Association (MADA), in the vibrant city of New York, NY, during the last two weekends of August 2024. This special event was organized to celebrate the organization's successful hosting of a two-day conference focused on fostering community and providing workshops that benefit Deaf Asian Seniors.

An acquaintance of mine introduced me to MADA's leader and public relations for an introductory meeting and additional volunteer experience. I was asked for skills and a portfolio. A week before I arrived in NYC to meet the whole team and the volunteer experience, they gave me assignments with deadlines. The deliverables were completed three days after the introductory meeting.
